Collection

My cave spider collection comprises 54 species from 16 families; they originate from 6 different countries world wide. All spiders are stored in vials with 70% alcohol.

The collection was deposited in the Natural History Museum of Berne/Switzerland in 1997; there it will be maintained and complemented by myself.

Originally it was planned to restrict the collection to Swiss cave spiders. Due to my collecting in neighboring countries and through gifts from other speleologists, the collecting area was expanded and now includes most of Central Europe.
